Janmashtami is one of the biggest religious festival of India. This festival is celebrated on the occasion of birthday of kanha . The Hindu festival marks the birth anniversary of Lord Krishna and is observed on Ashtami Tithi of Krishna Paksha in the month of Bhadrapad. Tiny devotees geared up this festival by coming in traditional attire and made amazing mukut for Janmashtami Activity .
They were embedded with this knowledge by a special assembly on lord Krishna journey. Children participated with full joy and enthusiasm.
Through these events Sun Valley school shape their children in overall development and nurture their knowledge in all aspects.
Rakhi is celebrated on the full moon day in the Hindu month of Shravan, which is usually in July or August. This festival is about brother sister bond. This is the most favourite festival celebrated by all Indians with joy and excitement.Our Sun Valley believe that investing in early childhood education means investing in the future of our society.These festival make children social with their peer group . They celebrated the festival by making beautiful Rakhi.Mentors and children celebrated the festival and girls tied love knot to their brothers. Boys expressed their gratitude by giving gifts.We instil the importance of festivals in our children every year in best creative way.
To beat the heat Splash Pool Activity was conducted in the Pre-Primary of Sun Valley International School on 18th and 19th July 2024. Water play helps in gross motor development, eye hand co-ordination and also helps in vocabulary development. Little children attired in colourful swimming costumes and goggles, enjoyed their first pool activity. It was a fun frolic activity and the little ones enjoyed it to the fullest.
On 12th July 2024, the Pre-Primary Wing of Sun Valley International School had a blast with our Mango Tango Party!
We kicked off with a mango adventure, letting the kids explore different mango types by touch, smell, and taste. They then got creative with mango-themed art, making mango shapes using paper tearing and pasting, toothbrush painting, and cotton dabbing. Teachers also shared fun mango stories and sang catchy songs. To finish off, everyone enjoyed delicious mangoes from their lunch and refreshing fruity drinks. We captured the fun with lots of photos. What a joyful day!
On May 15, 2024, the Pre-Primary Wing of Sun Valley International School hosted a delightful puppetry show titled "Elephant and Their Friends." The event provided a joyful learning experience for the young children, featuring colorful puppets and an engaging story with a moral. Teachers skillfully narrated the story, incorporating interactive questions that encouraged the children to participate and answer. The show effectively enhanced the children's imagination and vocabulary, making it both educational and entertaining.
A fun filled Twisty Lemonade event was organized for students at Sun Valley International School in Pre Primary Wing on 10.05.2024. The teacher explained how to make a tasty Lemonade with few simple steps. Delicious Lemonade was served to all the students and staff. They did a worksheet related to theme. The main aim of this activity was to make students understand that in Summer Season we should drink lots of water. It was refreshing and entertaining experience for the kids, promoting learning through play and social interaction.
Tiny little munchkins of Sun Valley International School have enjoyed the Earth's Day with excitement and enthusiasm. Tiny tots have visited the nursery and explored various plants, flowers and embedded the importance of plants and trees on the planet. Greenery plays a vital role in giving healthy life and positivity to every living being. Little learners of all segments involved themselves in ear bud painting, colouring , leaf printing, finger printing in the worksheet and performed their class task with their spectacular creativity. These little efforts make children aware of their nature and encourage them to opt ways to make a best planet to live.
Tiny Sun Vallians set an example for other students to celebrate every event in prodigious way.
Blue Color Day
Blue is a cool and calming color that shows creativity and intelligence. Sun Valley International School organized Blue Colour Day on Friday, 30th August 2024.
The dress code of the day was blue. All the children dressed up in different shades and hues of blue.
To make the activity more inclusive, children brought different blue colour objects like toys, decorative items. The children did tearing and pasting, ear bud printing in Blue Whale based on the theme.
Red Color Day
To introduce our young children into the mesmerizing realm of red which is associated with love, sensitivity, joy, strength, determination, confidence, and courage, we celebrated ‘Red Colour Day’ on Monday, 15th April, 2024. The tiny tots looked stunning in their red outfits. The shades of red made the Kids feel bright, lively and cheerful. Special assembly was conducted with emphasis on significance of red colour. The students were given a refreshment of fresh Rooh-afza as it is rich in colour red. The day continued by doing Art and Craft activities to improve the fine motor skills and recognition of the colour. All the children participated actively and enthusiastically. The day was a perfect blend of fun and learning!
Learning should be joyful and full of excitement as it is life's greatest adventure. Providing our students, a break from their curricular routine, Sun Valley International School organized a movie day for Pre Primary students to help them develop listening skills and enhance vocabulary. ‘Hanuman Returns’ a popular movie was shown to the students and the key takeaways from the story are:

On April 12, 2024, an "All About Me" activity was held in the kindergarten. The purpose of this activity was to help students become more familiar with each other and to encourage confidence in speaking in front of their teachers and peers. Each student was given the opportunity to introduce themselves. They shared their names and a few lines about themselves. This activity was designed to foster a sense of community within the classroom and to improve the students' verbal communication skills. All the students participated in the activity. Our new students felt valued and connected, setting a positive tone for their school journey.

A health awareness program was organized at our school under the guidance of our management and Principal, Mrs. Preeti Goel. Dr. Ritu Verma from the Primary Health Center conducted an informative session, enlightening students about the detrimental effects of tobacco consumption. The program aimed to encourage the future generation to adopt healthy habits and avoid tobacco.
The students were also educated on the importance of health and hygiene, emphasizing the need for a balanced lifestyle. The entire program focused on promoting student health and well-being.
