Through a plethora of scholastic as well as co-scholastic activities organized especially for the students, it is ensured that ignited, educated young minds are nurtured who are aware & sensitive about the problems and the issues prevalent not only in our society but on a Global scenario.

Pre-Primary Section

In Pre-Primary section, activity based play way method of teaching is followed.Individual attention is given to the students so that each child can be groomed carefully to the best of his/her capabilities.

Secondary and Senior Secondary Section

In Secondary and Senior Secondary Section, our teachers follow enquiry based method of teaching & provide learning experiences to the students not only through traditional methods of teaching wherever it is required but also through the use of multimedia and smart class. Teaching is not only restricted to classrooms but goes beyond the classroom as students are regularly taken to educational tours to Industries, Factories, Banks, Post/Offices etc. to gain an insight into the actual working of a system. Apart from this Class Presentations, Panel Discussions, Quizzes, Seminars etc. are a regular feature in the school which provide a platform to the students to develop their potential and channelize their energy in the right direction. Leadership qualities, team spirit and cooperation are also inculcated in the students by assigning to them project work or group activities.

Co-Curricular activities

In today's competitive environment an overall personality development of a child is a must. This is achieved by organizing co-curricular and cultural activities for different classes throughout the year. Activities like Dance, Drama, Quizzing, Elocutions, Debate, Declamations etc. not only provide a platform to the students but also help them to explore their hidden talent and potential. These activities not only prepare them to face the world with confidence but also inculcate the spirit of healthy competition among the students. The school follows House Systems with four houses namely Raman, Patel, Azad, Tagore. They are headed by House Mistress and a team of teachers who guide the students and prepare them for different inter house activities. The skill of public speaking is imbibed in the students right from the time they join the school and is groomed by the time they leave the school.

School Clubs ( Interactive clubs)

The school has several clubs in which students particpate according to their interest. The health club helps to incorporate better understanding about general health and hygiene issues through daily learning. The primary objective of health club is to create awareness among the student about the value of health and importance of nutrition. We believe that children have the potential to make a change in the outlook of their elders and families. We ensure that all children lead a healthy life in the school as well as outside school premises. Children have the ability to observe, learn and transfer knowledge to each other. We at Sun Valley attempt to infuse activity based learning. The teachers involve the students in group discussions and debates in the Interact club. It focuses on four themes including food and nutrition, personal hygiene, physical fitness and environmental awareness. Instead of theoretical knowledge, we groom the students through a play module to make the issues interesting.
