Sun Valley International School, Vaishali celebrated the 76th Republic Day of India on January 26, 2025 with great enthusiasm and patriotism. The event was hosted by the school management and Principal, Ms. Preeti Goel. The ceremony began with the flag-hoisting ceremony, followed by the National Anthem and patriotic songs.
The students from all houses presented a march-past, saluting the national flag, and showcased their talent through various cultural programs, including dances, songs and plays. The theme of the celebration was "Swarnim Bharat: Virasat aur Vikas" (Golden India: Heritage and Development).
A special tribute was paid to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the father of the Indian Constitution. The school management awarded the rolling trophy for the best march-past to Tagore House. Mr. Vijay Mohan Sir congratulated the winning team and encouraged the students to become responsible and aware citizens.
The Principal, Ms. Preeti Goel extended Republic Day greetings to all and inspired the students to follow Dr. Ambedkar's three mantras. The celebration was a huge success and the school community came together to celebrate the spirit of Indian republicanism.
